Typical parameter which needs to be configured

In most cases, the default configurations fit quite well. If not, those are the typical parameter which needs configuration:

 

Symbols used here are:

Active Data interface (RS232, CAN, SPI, I2C, ...)

The data interface describes which physical interface is the main path for communication. Through this interface the Avisaro device accepts data and commands. Available are RS232, CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, RS485, FILE, ...


To select the active data interface:

Setting: Real time clock

All Avisaro devices provide a real time clock. In some Avisaro devices ("Box" and "Cube") this clock is battery backed - in which case the clock needs to be set only once. To set the date and time use:

tl_files/Avisaro_Icons/notepad.jpg  time tl_files/Avisaro_Icons/ie-icon.jpg  clock  

 

Network settings (IP, WLAN, ...)

If the Avisaro device is equiped with a network interface such as WLAN or LAN, those settings apply. Each network interface has its own parameter set for IP adress, mask, ... as well as the physical interface parameters such as WLAN ssid, encryption.
WLAN (SSID, encryption, ...) configuration is done with:

Network (IP, ...) configuration is done with:

Startup behaviour of BASIC Scripts

BASIC Scripting is used to customize the behaviour of the Avisaro products. In most cases, those scripts start automatically when the device is powered up. Change this behaviour with:

tl_files/Avisaro_Icons/notepad.jpg  run tl_files/Avisaro_Icons/ie-icon.jpg  scripting  

 

Setting: FTP Server

The Avisaro devices provide a build-in FTP server to display and transfer files on a SD memory card. This FTP server is disabled by default. To enable and to modify settings, use:
