Right after power-on, the Avisaro 2.0 WLAN products start for 3 seconds with the default WLAN settings (SSID: avisaro, mode: adhoc, IP adress 192.168.0.74). During this short time, the modul sends out special UDP broadcast messages on port 22122. Those messages are send out either via WLAN or LAN. If those messages are replied to the module, the module remains in this default state. If no messages are replied, the module starts with the user settings and operates normally.
Thus - no matter how the regular WLAN settings are, this is a way to recover the Avisaro 2.0 product.
To reply the UDP messages, simply use a UDP tool or better, use the "WLAN catch" tool provided by Avisaro.
Navigate to the WLAN network settings of your PC. Right mouse button and properties. Select "Add..."
Select OK (and allow all warnings). Activate the created WLAN profile by navigating to 'list all networks':
Alternatively, use the 'wireless configuration' tool which comes with the installed WLAN interface. Those tools are usually better to use. Create a profile with the setting: SSID: avisaro, Mode: adhoc, Channel: 11, no encryption.
Finally, change the IP adress space of the WLAN interface to 192.168.0.x with subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Download the software (

Configure the WLAN as described above
Start the Avisaro 2.0 product. The catch tool will automatically receive the UDP beacon messages and return those to the Avisaro product. The 'catched' moduls will be displayed with their MAC adress:
Use the browser to navigate to the configuration website.
A simply UDP tool such as the "UDP Test Tool" (
link) is ok to use. A good way to use those tools is:
